Installation Manager – Portland, OR

Ferguson is seeking an Installation Manager to join our operations team at the Portland, OR location. The role focuses on providing leadership for customer‑facing associates and branch functions, ensuring competent installation capacity to support sales of finished goods and maintaining program integrity.

Responsibilities

• Direct reports (4 – 6 Installation Technicians).
• Support outside sales and showroom consultants to secure new business.
• Work across multiple KOB’s – appliances and lighting.
• Manage vendor relations regarding pricing and products.
• Lead appliance install techs, delivery, and installation coordinator associates.
• Lead outside contractors for sub‑contracted project activities.
• Consult with associates and customers at job sites.
• Perform quality checks on installation work to ensure accurate installation practices are used.
• Verify that all paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate.
• Manage installation‑related issues and provide solutions.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines.
• Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
• Work with branch trainer and manager(s) to ensure delivery and install processes are maintained.
• Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team.
• Conduct regular associate meetings.
• Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience preferred with duties in routing, scheduling, or appliance installation; 5+ years installing appliances as a lead.
• Demonstrated experience using standard hand tools, electric tools and motorized and/or manual lifting devices.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, shown integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload to balance multiple demands and meet timelines.

Pay

Monthly range: $5,692.50 – $12,402.50 (salaried) or hourly for other roles. Bonus or incentive plan eligible. Starting wage may vary with local or state wage requirements.
