As Senior Manager, Commercial and Residential Installation & Repair, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for the execution of installation and repair services across our commercial portfolio. Through strategic leadership, hands-on problem-solving, and operational excellence, you’ll ensure that our business customers receive best-in-class service while meeting key performance and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance customer experience during installation and repair, in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial installation and repair function, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs are met.
  • Review service orders, analyze trouble tickets, and drive resolution strategies based on root cause analysis.
  • Lead and mentor team supervisors and field technicians through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign work and prioritize tasks to optimize team productivity and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present operational reports and executive-level presentations highlighting performance, trends, and recommendations.
  • Control departmental expenditures to align with OPEX and CAPEX budgets; make budgetary recommendations as needed.
  • Monitor field operations quality to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure effective department operations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant experience in field operations management.
  • Strong leadership experience with proven ability to motivate, train, and develop field-based teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills based on analytical thinking and data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with service delivery tools and technical documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Understanding of OPEX and CAPEX budgeting in a field services environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tier II or mid-level management experience in telecom or related industry.
  • Experience with Head End operations and/or P&L responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of broadband technologies including Fiber Optic, Wi-Fi, private line services, and VoIP.
  • Strong grasp of advanced network troubleshooting and installation methods (Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing protocols, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC theory in telecommunications environments.
  • Familiarity with complex data and telecommunications network solutions including Network Security, VoIP, Metro-E, and Managed Wi-Fi.
