Job summary

Noble-Fueling-Solutions is seeking an Installation Laborer to support the Construction Foreman in installing fueling systems, tanks, piping, and dispensers at our Plymouth, MA site.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, physical fitness, and ability to follow directions while maintaining safety and quality in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license required to safely operate construction truck.
  • Physically fit with ability to climb a ladder, stand, squat, shovel, and lift 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to fill out forms with legible handwriting.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a variety of roles.
  • Articulate with friendly, professional tone with customers and staff.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

Summary:

In this position, the Installation Laborer supports the Construction Foreman with the goal of becoming proficient in the installation of fueling systems that include, but are not limited to tank installation, piping installation, dispenser installation and related mechanical systems that are used to operate fueling facilities & dispense fuel products.

Responsibilities:
  • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.
  • May be trained to act as machine operator when the normal operator is out.
  • Report any issues to supervisor or higher-level employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a construction truck.
  • Physically fit with the ability to climb a ladder, stand, squat, shovel, and lift 75 lbs. from the floor to shoulder height.
  • Complete daily reports, paperwork and submit construction site pictures daily.
  • Must be able to fill out forms and have legible handwriting.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a variety of roles.
  • Must be articulate and possess a friendly, professional tone with internal and external customers and staff.
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience:
  • Experience in measuring and cutting lumber for concrete forms.
  • Experience with cutting asphalt & concrete with a gas-powered chop saw.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Experience working with excavators / equipment. Not operating but working with someone who is running the machine.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Manual Labor: 2 years (Preferred).
  • Construction Work: 2 years (Preferred).
  • Experience with petroleum equipment is a positive factor but not a requirement.
