Job summary

Petro Towery, Inc. is seeking self-motivated individuals to service and install fueling systems for commercial and retail outlets in Louisville, KY. The role includes digging trenches, material handling, and operating basic construction tools as you support crew activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and a valid driver license with a clean record. Background and drug screening may be required; on-call hours and training for certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years construction experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Using hand tools and manual labor to install and service petroleum dispensing equipment at retail and commercial outlets.
• Assist with installing piping components (steel, fiberglass, flexible).
• Learn to operate construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, compactors, skid loaders, air compressors, saws, jackhammers).
• Follow fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
• Support crews and provide quality customer service while representing Petro Towery.

SUMMARY

Primary focus is on servicing and installing commercial and retail fueling systems. Tasks include equal portion of underground storage tank work, plumbing, mechanical, lighting, canopy erecting, and general construction work related to fueling systems.

General Laborers are responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites. Use hand tools like shovels or picks while operating machinery to help them with the work and assist crews with other necessary tasks.

Essential Duties

• Using manual labor and hand tools to assist with installation of petroleum dispensing equipment at retail and commercial fuel outlets
• ManualLabor Assistance with the following:
  • Thread and install steel, fiberglass and flexible piping components
  • Great learning opportunity to learn to operate excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, compactors, skid loaders, air compressors, concrete saws and jack hammers

• Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations

• Responsible for displaying conduct which reflects positively on the construction department and Petro Towery.
• Promote Petro Towery’s mission statement.
• All employees are expected to provide quality customer service.

• A minimum of a high school diploma/GED and/or one to three years construction experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education
• Valid Driver License, with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read and follow directions for manual processes
• Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screenMust be willing to work flexible hours to include being in an on call rotation
