Put Your Hands-On Skills to Work. Build a Career. Take Pride in What You Create.
Do you enjoy working with tools, figuring out how things work, and seeing the results of a job well done?
Are you someone who already has some hands-on experience and wants to take those skills further?
At Bay View Shade & Blind, we're looking for a mechanically inclined, hands-on individual who has experience using hand and power tools and is ready to develop those skills into a long-term career.
Our Installation Experience Specialists install high-end, custom window treatments in beautiful homes and businesses. It's a skilled, hands-on position that combines precision, craftsmanship, problem-solving, and customer interaction.
You don't need previous window treatment installation experience. We will teach you our products, installation methods, and standards. But you should already have a working knowledge of basic tools and feel comfortable using them.
We're looking for someone with a foundation of practical skills, a strong work ethic, and the drive to become really good at what they do.
This position is best suited for someone who has already spent time working with their hands and has developed some practical mechanical or trade skills.
You might come from construction, remodeling, maintenance, cabinetry, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, furniture assembly, or another hands-on environment.
We're looking for someone who:
Window treatment experience is not required. Practical tool experience is.
We're not looking for someone who knows everything. We're looking for someone who has a solid starting point, takes pride in their abilities, and wants to keep getting better.
We believe in investing in people who want to grow their skills and build a career.
100 years of opening windows of opportunity.
We're a growing, three-generation, family-owned company with a long history of serving homeowners throughout Wisconsin.
We offer something different from a typical construction or labor position. You'll work with premium products, serve customers in beautiful homes, develop specialized installation skills, and be part of a professional team that takes pride in its work.
Our Installation Team is an important part of the customer experience. We believe the way we treat someone's home, communicate with customers, and finish our work matters just as much as the product we're installing.
We believe in five behaviors that define a great BVSB installer:
There's something rewarding about working with your hands, developing a craft, and knowing you've done something well.
If you have some practical tool experience, enjoy hands-on work, and are looking for an opportunity to turn your abilities into a skilled career, we'd like to meet you.
100 years of opening windows of opportunity.
