Role

The Installation Crew Mechanic is a vital member of the Conair team, responsible for all phases of new projects. This role involves working on a traveling installation team, reporting to the Project Management Supervisor, and is based in Franklin, Pennsylvania, with field assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on a traveling installation team, following the guidance of the site-based Installation Crew Chief;
  • Travel by truck or airplane to customer sites to install Conair equipment. Typical deployments are approximately 10 days on, 4 days off, but may vary based on project needs;
  • If not on installation jobs, perform various tasks at the Conair Franklin factory;
  • Maintain safety standards by wearing proper safety equipment, understanding safe work practices, and refusing unsafe work;
  • Prepare and submit expense reports;
  • Assist the crew chief in preparing hardware and equipment for return to Conair and vendors.
