Job summary

Tactica Solutions LLC seeks a Community Planner to support the Installation Development Plan at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The role focuses on alignment of siting, land use, infrastructure and transportation with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will lead plan development, review projects for consistency, analyze planning factors, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent field from a US-accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
• Clearance: Tier 1 background investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and periodic review of comprehensive planning documents and supporting plans.
• Review projects and siting requests for consistency with development plans, policies and criteria; document findings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Analyze mission, environmental, land-use, infrastructure, and planning factors to identify constraints and opportunities and support recommendations.
• Coordinate planning matters with internal and external stakeholders on a need-to-know basis.
