Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of automotive, diesel, fabrication, equipment repair, or related mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Must provide and maintain a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install tow truck bodies, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and related systems.
• Install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural components.
• Perform equipment upfitting and customization tasks.
• Complete assembly and basic fabrication assignments.
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Worldwide Equipment Sales (WWE) is seeking a motivated Installation Technician C to join our Illinois team.

This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a career working on industry-leading tow trucks, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and specialty vehicle systems. As an Installation Technician C, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills in fabrication, hydraulics, electrical systems, equipment installation, and upfitting.

What You’ll Do

• Install tow truck bodies, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and related systems
• Install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural components
