Job summary

ENFRA Solutions, based in Florida, is seeking an Install Service Technician III - HVAC to lead the installation and startup of HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role includes crane-led projects, startup/commissioning of DX equipment, VRF systems, and chiller components, with a focus on safety and adherence to drawings.

You will guide a crew on diverse sites, interpret mechanical drawings, and ensure quality work while following site instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting and minor ductwork transitions to HVAC equipment.
• Startup and commissioning experience on HVAC systems is required.
• Crane signaling and rigging experience is needed.
• Working knowledge of VRF systems, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Familiarity with DDC systems and VFD operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow site instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on projects that may involve crane operations.
• Install or replace boilers, rooftop units, unit heaters, and DX equipment.
• Start up and commission DX equipment, AHUs and other HVAC components.
• Review elevation drawings and create shop drawings; ensure safety procedures.

Overview

The Install Service Technician III - HVAC is responsible for conducting the installation of HVAC & refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead a crew on a project involving a crane.
• Installation or replacement of a boiler, rooftop unit, unit heater, WSHP, EF, AHU, etc.
• Start up and commission for all DX Equipment, Chilled Water AHUs, VFDs, FCUs, Packaged Unit including VRF and DOAS Units, Cooling Towers and Pumps, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters.
• Understanding of final product elevation drawings and installation techniques.
• Uses a mechanical drawing to create a shop drawing showing the plan and elevation views.
• Understanding of equipment submittals and their usage.
• Accurately identifies and sketches components of an HVAC & refrigeration system.
• Promotes and performs all aspects of company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting.
• Experience in minor ductwork making transitions to HVAC equipment.
• Startup & Commissioning experience.
• Crane signaling and rigging experience.
• Working knowledge of a VRF system.
• Working knowledge of a chiller, cooling tower, and pumps.
• Working knowledge of DDC system operations.
• Working knowledge of a VFD and its function.
• Must be able and willing to follow job-site instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems.
• Holds an EPA Certification.

Travel Requirements

• 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
• Climbing stairs.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Low indoor temperature.
• High indoor temperature.
• Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
• Noisy environment.

Pay Range

USD $27.92 - USD $37.29 /Hr.
