Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an Install Service Technician III - HVAC to install and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role involves leading a crew on crane-enabled projects, installing boilers, rooftops, AHUs, VRF/DOAS units, and associated equipment, plus startup and commissioning tasks with attention to safety and quality.

You will review elevation drawings, prepare shop drawings, and ensure proper submittals and operation knowledge for DX systems, chillers, and pumps.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting.
• Experience in minor ductwork transitioning to HVAC equipment.
• Startup & Commissioning experience.
• Crane signaling and rigging experience.
• Working knowledge of VRF systems.
• Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers and pumps.
• DDC system operations.

• Ability to follow job-site instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Industry awareness of competitors.

Overview

The Install Service Technician III - HVAC is responsible for conducting the installation of HVAC & refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead a crew on a project involving a crane.
• Installation or replacement of a boiler, rooftop unit, unit heater, WSHP, EF, AHU, etc.
• Start up and commission for all DX Equipment, Chilled Water AHUs, VFDs, FCUs, Packaged Unit including VRF and DOAS Units, Cooling Towers and Pumps, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters.
• Understanding of final product elevation drawings and installation techniques.
• Uses a mechanical drawing to create a shop drawing showing the plan and elevation views.
• Understanding of equipment submittals and their usage.li>Accurately identifies and sketches components of an HVAC & refrigeration system.
• Promotes and performs all aspects of company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting.
• Experience in minor ductwork making transitions to HVAC equipment.
• Startup & Commissioning experience.
• Crane signaling and rigging experience.Working knowledge of a VRF system.
• Working knowledge of a chiller, cooling tower, and pumps.
• Working knowledge of DDC system operations.
• Working knowledge of a VFD and its function.
• Must be able and willing to follow job-site instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems.
• Holds an EPA Certification.

Travel Requirements

• 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
• Climbing stairs.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Low indoor temperature.
• High indoor temperature.
• Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.

Pay Range

USD $27.92 - USD $37.29 /Hr.
