Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Install Service Technician III - HVAC to install and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems, leading crane-enabled projects and coordinating with crews. You will work on boilers, rooftops, AHUs, and DX equipment, ensuring precise startups and safety compliance.

The role requires experience in pipefitting, duct transitions, and VRF/DDC/VFD knowledge, with travel minimal and physical tasks in varied environments.

• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission for all DX Equipment, Chilled Water AHUs, VFDs, FCUs, Packaged Unit including VRF and DOAS Units, Cooling Towers and Pumps, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters.
• Understand final product elevation drawings and installation techniques.
• Use a mechanical drawing to create a shop drawing showing plan and elevation views.
• Understand equipment submittals and their usage.
• Accurately identify and sketch components of an HVAC & refrigeration system.
• Promote and perform all aspects of company safety procedures and policies.

Overview

The Install Service Technician III - HVAC is responsible for conducting the installation of HVAC & refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead a crew on a project involving a crane.
• Installation or replacement of a boiler, rooftop unit, unit heater, WSHP, EF, AHU, etc.
• Start up and commission for all DX Equipment, Chilled Water AHUs, VFDs, FCUs, Packaged Unit including VRF and DOAS Units, Cooling Towers and Pumps, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems.
• Holds an EPA Certification.

Travel Requirements

• 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
• Climbing stairs.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Pay Range

USD $27.92 - USD $37.29 /Hr.
