Job summary

WGNSTAR in Albuquerque, NM seeks a hands-on installer with mechanical or electrical aptitude to install equipment at customer sites and travel as required. The role requires flexibility across shifts, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel up to 80% to client locations.

• Troubleshooting and electromechanical repair experience a plus.

Schedule: M-F 7am – 4pm with the ability to work Saturdays as needed

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Travel: Ability to travel up to 80% to other client locations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements and maintain a strong focus on safe, high-quality work at all times.
• Move, set up, and install equipment in customer cleanroom environments according to required standards.
• Follow installation documentation, work instructions, and detailed checklists to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Complete required training and maintain accurate daily safety documentation for customers and internal requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while supporting a positive team-oriented work environment.
• Train on and work with a variety of equipment systems and model types, with flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude/experience including the ability to use appropriate hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment.
• Willingness to travel to various customer locations with limited notice as required to support installation activity in different semiconductor fabs. Travel expenses related to away-from-home work assignments will be paid by the company, with home trips every 6-8 weeks if assignment duration requires extended stay.
• Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Troubleshooting and electromechanical repair are a plus.

Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8–10 hours, and perform bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, working at heights, on a ladder, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
