Generator Supercenter of Pensacola is seeking a motivated Install Helper/Apprentice to join our team in Pensacola, FL. This entry-level role offers a hands-on path into generator installation and service, with practical training and real-world experience from day one.

You'll assist lead technicians with residential and commercial installations, learn electrical concepts, and develop essential trade skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required — willingness to learn electrical and generator installation is a must.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation of residential and commercial standby generators
• Help with running conduit, wiring, and making electrical connections under supervision
• Assist with the placement and mounting of generator units and transfer switches
• Load, transport, and unload tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Support lead technicians with troubleshooting and service calls as needed
