Generator Supercenter of Pensacola in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a motivated Install Helper/Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the generator installation trade from the ground up and build a rewarding career in standby power systems.

You’ll assist lead technicians with residential and commercial installations, handle tools safely, and grow your skills through on-the-job training and company development programs.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn electrical and generator installation.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive team-player attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation of residential and commercial standby generators.
• Help with running conduit, wiring, and making electrical connections under supervision.
• Assist with the placement and mounting of generator units and transfer switches.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, equipment, and materials at job sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Support lead technicians with troubleshooting and service calls as needed.
