Hours
Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (may require some overtime)
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and install office furniture according to company guidelines and customer specifications.
- Ensure all items are delivered in excellent condition and properly set up.
- Interact professionally with customers and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist in warehouse furniture items when not on deliveries.
- Acquire and have all tools onsite after the initial three months of employment (discussed in interview).
Qualifications & Skills
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work flexible days and hours; overnight stays may be required for projects/installations, with a stipend provided.
- Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills; interpersonal skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to deal well with the public, as this is a customer-oriented position.
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of panel systems, ability to work with tools, and read/interpreting plans, safety rules, and manuals.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
