Job summary

Young Electric Sign Company is seeking an Install Apprentice in Salt Lake City, Utah. Under supervision, you will install new signs, repair existing ones, and prepare materials for field installations in a shop and on-site environment.

You'll transport materials, follow safety rules, and complete job paperwork. A CDL-B license and experience with construction tools or cranes are preferred; strong teamwork and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1+ years in construction including welding, heavy equipment, crane and forklift, power tools and reading blueprints/work orders.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Install new signs and repair/removal of existing signs, letters and identification products.
• Transport materials, prepare and erect signs per plans.
• Perform maintenance and repair of existing signs and complete installation paperwork.
