Charter Schools USA is seeking a Tutor to support student learning through a flexible, outcome‑driven classroom environment. You will develop and implement lesson plans, build rapport with students, staff, and parents, and support individual growth toward academic goals.

The Tutor will collaborate with educators to align instruction with state standards and CSUSA philosophy, using diverse strategies to engage learners and monitor progress in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; valid teaching certification.
• 1–3 years teaching experience (may include Student Teaching Internship).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of grade/subject content and learning theory; strong instructional delivery.
• Successful background check as required by CSUSA policies.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction aligned with adopted courses and CSUSA guidelines.
• Create lesson plans, maximize time on task, and present material with real-world examples.
• Assess student strengths and needs; maintain accurate student records.
• Coordinate class activities, field trips, and preparation for state assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff and administrators; participate in school events.
