Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. is seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our education team.

You will create and implement flexible lessons, establish a classroom environment conducive to learning, and build rapport with students, staff and parents to support student growth. You will develop plans aligned with guidelines, use varied teaching methods, assess student progress, and help prepare students for state assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid teaching certification applicable to the role.
• 1–3 years of successful teaching experience.
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of CSUSA values and curriculum is beneficial.
• Ability to establish rapport with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction aligned with CSUSA philosophy and goals.
• Develop purposeful lesson plans and maximize time on task.
• Present subject matter with real-world examples to enhance learning.
• Maintain accurate student records and assess progress regularly.
• Coordinate with teachers and parents to support student achievement.
• Support curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and display student work.
