Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time Kids Science – STEM After School Instructor in Haworth, NJ. You will deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK‑12 students, using provided lesson plans and materials. The role reports to a Program Success Manager.

Compensation is $70 per hour per class, with classes scheduled 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM. Ideal candidates have an AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching, experience with children, and strong communication

Qualifications

Part-time position is offered.
AA Degree (or higher) required.
2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
Experience working with children.
Educational (development or training) experience.
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Reliable transportation.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
Prepare for instruction using provided training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.
Teach students in grades PreK-12 (varies by assignment).
Report to a Program Success Manager.
Follow schedule and maintain site expectations.
Engage with families and participate in program activities.
