Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Massachusetts teaching licensure for Moderate Disabilities.
• SEI endorsement or ESL license required.
• Experience in urban/special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks and develop access points for portfolios.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals with progress reporting.
• Provide accommodations for instruction and testing; prepare MCAS alternative assessments.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs and transitions to adult services.
