Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in a welcoming school community located about 25 minutes from Greenville. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate educator who wants to work with diverse learners and help them reach their full potential.

You’ll collaborate with staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring each student receives tailored support and a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• State certification (or eligibility) in Special Education.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and adapting IEPs for students.
• Strong understanding of a variety of learning, behavioral, and physical disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic school setting.
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to students with individualized needs, modifying curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
• Monitor and document student progress, updating IEPs as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Implement classroom management strategies to support student success.
• Advocate for student needs in both academic and social contexts.
