Georgetown County School District is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher (LD and/or Multi-Cat) for Carvers Bay Middle STEAM Academy and Carvers Bay Early College and Career High. The role supports students with learning disabilities within a 190-day calendar framework.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with general educators to support student progress across locations in Georgetown, SC.

Qualifications

• SC Teacher Certification required
• Degree(s) and major from an accredited college/university
• Prior job experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in locations/times
• Creates a conducive learning environment
• Develops lesson plans to meet student needs
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and objectives
• Uses diverse instructional techniques and media
• Maintains records as required
• Communicates with parents and counselors
