Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience in a formal academic setting preferred.
• Ability to teach Dual Enrollment college-level courses; Master’s in Science with 18 graduate credits required for dual enrollment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and materials that facilitate active learning.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and tests.
• Instruct and monitor students using learning materials and technology.
• Differentiate instruction using relevant technology.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline as per school policies.
• Prepare classroom for activities and observe student progress.
• Provide feedback on work and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Record-keeping and reporting as required by laws and policies.
• Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
• Communicate progress and needs to students, colleagues, and parents.
