Moorpark College, part of the Ventura County Community College District, invites applications for an Instructor in Radiological Technology (Part-Time Pool). We accept applications on an on-going basis and keep files for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 for future vacancies.

Under the general direction of a dean, instructors provide classroom instruction to students from diverse backgrounds and may be employed up to 67% of a full-time assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications per California Community Colleges Board of Governors handbook.
• Any Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience OR any Associate’s degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent; OR possession of a valid California Community College Teaching Credential appropriate to the discipline.
• Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction to students through lecture, lab, or performance courses and assess student learning outcomes.
• Advise students regarding programs of study and support services.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Plan and organize instruction according to course outlines and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment and progress; submit data and reports.
• Evaluate and select instructional materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Revise and update course content in line with new developments.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher + 2 years professional experience OR Associate’s degree + 6 years professional experience OR the equivalent
