Primrose School at Standley Lake is looking for a caring Prekindergarten Teacher to join our team. You will help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment while implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.

You will build meaningful relationships with children and families, supporting social-emotional and academic development and preparing students for Kindergarten. The role emphasizes understanding that behavior is communication, with a focus on emotional regulation,

Competenze

• Experience with Prekindergarten-aged children.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent children and children with diverse learning, sensory, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Adapts teaching to meet individual needs and supports social-emotional development.
• Creates a calm, patient, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Uses positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior support strategies.
• Collaborates with families, classroom teachers, leadership, and outside support professionals.
• Is dependable, flexible, and a strong team player with good communication.
• Meets Colorado licensing requirements for the position or is willing to complete necessary qualifications.
