Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with official transcripts.
• ABFSE accredited program if teaching embalming or restorative arts; Nevada licensure for embalming/restorative arts as applicable.
• For funeral directing, merchandising, or funeral service management, must be a licensed Funeral Director in Nevada and trained in funeral service practice.
• Off-campus preceptors must have a Nevada license to practice Funeral Directing/Embalming and state license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned and align with catalog descriptions and course outlines.
• Provide each student with a syllabus at the start of each course.
• Maintain course records (syllabi, grades, attendance, etc.).
• Prepare and administer examinations to measure course objectives; administer final exam; assign grades.
