Job summary

Y.A.L.E. School seeks a dedicated Middle School Special Education teacher to provide learning experiences and supervise students in a safe, supportive classroom. You will align with NJ standards, working with staff and families to foster academic growth and positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, differentiation, and strong communication while integrating 21st-century technology to support diverse learners in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• NJ instructional certificate or TOH/CE認; clearly documented Highly Qualified status
• Certification in NJ Special Education (TOSD) intended/possible
• Multiple valid NJ teaching certifications acceptable (Secondary or K-8)
• Experience planning lessons for secondary math with curriculum knowledge
• Demonstrated leadership, organization and communication in classroom settings
• Knowledge of effective instructional strategies, assessment, and research-based practices
• Ability to work with diverse learners and collaborate with families and staff
• Proficient use of 21st-century technology in instruction
