Job summary

Minidoka County School District is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to guide students toward intellectual, social, emotional and personal growth. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Idaho State Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for classes meeting district curriculum guidelines and state requirements.
• Supervise instruction to integrate special needs students into regular programs and IEPs.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and communicate expectations to students and parents.
• Assist students in gaining testable skills as measured by district/state assessments and provide required reports.
• Plan, organize, and implement lessons to meet diverse student needs and develop individuals.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans by Friday for administrator review and substitutes.
• Keep attendance, assignments, grades, and records up to date.
• Establish and enforce student conduct guidelines per district policy.
• Collaborate with counselors and administrators to address student needs.

Education
