Job summary

North View Middle School in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota seeks a long-term substitute Math teacher to inspire scholars, deliver instruction aligned with district curriculum, and use diverse resources and technology to support learning. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a Minnesota teaching license in the appropriate field (or willingness to obtain an Out of Field Permission/Tier 1 or 2).

Work days are Monday through Friday; full-time through December 23, 2026, starting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR willing to obtain Out of Field Permission.
• If not licensed, willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed.
• Make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies.
• Implement the goals and objectives of the district, school and program.
• Maintain contact with guardians/caregivers and work with them in student development.
• Design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines.
• Provide in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable and collaborate with others.
• Willing to participate in district and building leadership activities.
