Marlborough School, located in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an Assistant Water Polo Coach for the part-time, seasonal role. The candidate will assist the Head Coach with practices and games, reporting to the Athletic Director and Water Polo Coach.

The ideal applicant holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, coaching experience at HS or club level, and CPR/First Aid certification. Flexible evenings and weekend work is required, with duties including safety, technique instruction, and team

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
• Previous coaching experience in water polo at high school or club level.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of water polo techniques, strategies, and training methods.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Head Coach in formulating objectives for the season.
• Attend Athletic Department and League meetings as requested.
• Stay current with water polo techniques and rules.
• Supervise team as assigned by Head Coach/Athletic Director.
• Ensure facility regulations are understood and followed.
• Assist with equipment, facilities, and end-of-season return of gear.
