Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid state teaching certification, or a clear ability and commitment to obtain certification.
• Strong content-area knowledge and instructional skill.
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset with a work ethic and collaborative spirit.
• Minimum of two years of successful experience working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math Analysis (Algebra I) and Statistics.
• Foster a classroom environment grounded in critical thinking, academic rigor, mutual respect, and high expectations for all students.
• Implement high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum and design instructional materials that promote deep thinking and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent, proactive communication with families regarding student progress and updates.
• Engage in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and growth.
• Opportunities to be CREW Leaders and co-lead a class focusing on SEL and community building.
