San Marcos Academy in Texas is seeking a dedicated full-time history teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to instruct Middle School (8th grade) and Upper School (9th–12th grade) students. The role emphasizes engaging, standards-aligned instruction and a passion for history.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate history lessons for Middle and Upper School.

• Foster critical thinking, discussion, and analysis of events and their modern impact.
• Assess understanding with formative and summative evaluations and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and school-wide goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
