Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid PEL with LBS1 Endorsement or working towards.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a high school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using technology to support instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs with the IEP team.
• Deliver instruction aligned with state standards and curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Utilize various instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents for a smooth learning experience.
• Monitor progress and use data to adjust instruction.
• Participate in professional development on best practices in special education.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate.
