Midwest City - Del City School District Del City High School in Del City, Oklahoma seeks a 2026-27 Math Teacher to foster a positive classroom and meet state standards. Immediate starting date and district responsibilities include maintaining records, collaborating with parents, and delivering instruction aligned to the curriculum.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, Oklahoma teaching certification, and prior classroom experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Teaching certification recognized by the State of Oklahoma.
Previous experience with children or in a classroom setting is preferred.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsabilités

Maintain records and the comprehensive computer database necessary to complete annual child counts and state/federal reports.
Teach academic content as designated to pupils in a classroom, aligned to current state standards.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials with individualized and small group instruction.
Monitor and evaluate pupils’ academic and social growth toward goals and prepare progress reports.
Communicate with parents through conferences to discuss pupil progress and interpret the school program.
Identify pupil needs and collaborate with staff to provide interventions and resources.
Engage in professional growth and set goals for development.
