Qualifications

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement a program of study meeting student needs.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation.
• Diagnose learning challenges and maintain IEP/504 records.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress.
• Observe and assess students' performance regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist school administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
• Create a culture of effectiveness by setting high standards for all students.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Diagnose learning challenges of students and maintain records for IEPs/504s.
