Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required; master's preferred.
• Connecticut educator certification eligible for Elementary, Grades 1-6 (305) or applicable certification.
• Experience teaching at elementary level preferred; strong literacy and numeracy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver instruction aligned with Connecticut standards and district curriculum.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Provide tiered interventions and supports (MTSS/SRBI).
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and administrators to support student learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom community with clear routines and expectations.
