The Stephen Longfellow Academy in Leeds is seeking a General Teacher with Assistant SENDCo responsibility. The role combines high-quality classroom teaching with leadership to support inclusive education and coordinate provision for students with SEND across KS3 and KS4.

You will work with the SENDCo to promote high standards, support staff and families, and ensure learners receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally within an ambitious, supportive academy.

Formación

• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 with strong examination results.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Knowledge of inclusive education and SEND provision.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assist the SENDCo in coordinating and enhancing SEND provision.
• Lead and support staff, students and families to promote inclusive education.
• Promote high standards of achievement and student well-being.
