Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Bachelor's degree required and Colorado teaching credential.
• CDE teaching license and K-6 endorsement required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
• Ability to align curriculum with state standards and assess student progress.
• Strong collaboration and professional learning community participation.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings (Daily 30%).
• Plan and implement curricula, lessons, activities, and individualized programs (Daily 20%).
• Administer and grade assignments and assessments (Daily 10%).
• Design diverse assessment tasks and use data to inform instruction (Daily 10%).
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage behavior (Daily 5%).
• Monitor student growth and maintain progress documentation (Daily 5%).
• Communicate progress and needs with parents and staff (Daily 5%).
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve outcomes (Daily 5%).
• Participate in department, building, and district meetings as well as family conferences (Daily 5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (Daily 5%).
