Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher in Weymouth, MA to lead classrooms and deliver its curriculum within a caring, engaging environment. You will mentor colleagues, partner with families, and contribute to enrollment, accreditation and engagement efforts across the center.

The role requires experience in early childhood education, relevant credentials, and a commitment to safety and quality care for children.

Qualifications

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading, writing, speaking required to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to reach enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
