Job summary

Create lesson plans and teach students how to study or communicate.
Observe and evaluate students' abilities and progress.
Teach and mentor individuals or groups and communicate with families and staff.
Help students overcome learning challenges and prepare for standardized tests as required.
Document plans, goals, and progress per facility/state requirements.
Supervise classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
Develop and enforce classroom rules and policies.
Adhere to treatment plans and participate in team meetings as requested.
