Qualifications

• Must be able to implement curriculum and develop lesson plans for children 0–3.
• Coordinate with Center Director and Education Coordinator to ensure compliance with Head Start standards.
• Ability to communicate with parents and maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present daily instructional activities and lesson plans.
• Coordinate parent-teacher conferences and home visits.
• Assess and document health and behaviors of children.
• Maintain classroom organization and materials; attend meetings and complete reports.
• Provide customer service at reception and greet visitors.
• Review weekly lesson plans with Education Coordinator for approvals.
• Assist with individualized curriculum including IEP/IFSP goals.
• Model toothbrushing and promote health habits.
• Maintain and protect confidentiality of staff, students, and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
