Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory seeks instructors to teach Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education across all ages. You will design programs, prepare lesson plans, and present proper techniques while managing a safe classroom.

Responsibilities include delivering energetic, engaging classes, implementing safety measures, and coordinating with program managers to ensure quality outcomes aligned with the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience teaching or working in instructional areas.
• Certification or a degree in a related field or level of expertise is required.
• Must have up-to-date personal insurance prior to employment.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A minimum of one year of experience teaching various or specific group exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education.
• Designs instructional programs, lesson plans, and materials.
• Maintains safety and manages classroom environment.
• Communicates with program manager about scheduling and development.
• Delivers engaging, motivational classes for all ages and abilities.
