Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility for licensure) in Mathematics (Middle Grades Mathematics preferred).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction for 7th and 8th grade students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners (IEPs, ELs, advanced learners).
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture built on respect and high expectations.
• Integrate technology and real-world applications in math lessons.
• Participate in PLCs focused on student achievement and instructional improvement.
• Maintain accurate student records in Infinite Campus and communicate with families.
• Serve as an advisor to a small group of students for academic and social-emotional growth.
