Job summary

BridgePrep Academy Broward is seeking a dedicated 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher to deliver rigorous middle school mathematics aligned to state standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Middle Grades Education, or a related field.
• Florida middle grades teaching certificate or eligible (Grades 5–9/6–12).
• Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required.
• Preferred ESOL Endorsement; Master’s degree; prior middle school math teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging middle school math lessons focusing on algebra, geometry, ratios, standards mastery, and mathematical problem-solving.
• Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment; differentiate instruction for ESE, 504, and ELL scholars through required accommodations.
• Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data on time; maintain regular family communication.
• Collaborate with SMART Management in our mission to provide a student-centered academic experience enriched by technology and Spanish language integration.
