Job summary

BridgePrep Academy Broward is seeking a dedicated 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned middle school mathematics instruction. Join us in a student-centered, technology-enabled environment with Spanish language integration.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, differentiating for diverse learners, and collaborating in weekly coaching and PD. Must hold or be eligible for Florida Middle Grades Math certification and pass Level 2 background screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Florida Teaching Certificate in Middle Grades Mathematics or Mathematics (Florida license or eligible).
• Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required.
• ESOL Endorsement; Master’s degree; prior middle school math teaching experience preferred.

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned middle school math instruction focused on algebra, geometry, ratios, and problem-solving.
• Maintain a structured, supportive classroom and differentiate for ESE, 504, and ELL students.
• Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data; communicate with families.

Salary:$51,379 – $65,402 (Base + Referendum + Master's Supplement + Math Teacher Certificiation)

Key Responsibilities

Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging middle school math lessons focused on foundational algebra, geometry, ratios, state standards mastery, and mathematical problem-solving.

Culture & Support:Maintain a structured,supportive classroom environment; differentiate instruction for ESE,504,and ELL scholars through required accommodations.

Collaboration & Compliance:Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data on time; maintain regular family communication.

Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Middle Grades Education, or a related field.

Certification:Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in Middle Grades Mathematics (Grades 5–9) or Mathematics (Grades 6–12).

Clearance:Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required.

Preferred:ESOL Endorsement; Master’s degree; prior middle school math teaching experience.
