Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language - Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI).
• Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.
• Physical Education Teachers: AED and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person learning.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning and plan instructional activities.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers for IEP accommodations.
• Manage classroom and ensure safety and discipline.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
• Participate in staff development and comply with policies.
