Qualifications

• Valid MN teaching license in (K-6 or 1-6) Elementary Education or B-grade 3 Early Childhood Education.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development through coursework, research and peer collaboration.
• Knowledge of core curriculum areas and instructional practices.
• Knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods and best practices.
• Knowledge of diverse student learning styles and needs.
• Knowledge of multicultural and inclusive curriculum concepts.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques.
• Working knowledge of instructional technologies.
• Skill in classroom presentation and organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons aligned to district goals and student needs.

• Ability to evaluate student performance and report results.

Responsibilities
