Job summary

Trillium Academy is seeking a Middle School Teacher to teach science and math (up to Algebra 1) in Seattle. The role includes small-group instruction, advisory responsibilities, and collaboration with the student support team to nurture 2e learners.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with occasional evenings and weekends for school events. Start date is August 17, 2026, with a compensation package including health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or related field.
Ability to differentiate instruction across math and science topics.
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).
Experience with neurodivergent or 2e students; hands-on STEM.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver differentiated math and science lessons.
Build conceptual understanding via hands-on labs and real-world problem-solving.
Sequence coursework across levels and adjust pacing for asynchronous learners.
Serve as advisory teacher supporting social-emotional growth.
Assess progress and provide timely feedback.
Communicate with families and collaborate with colleagues.
Foster inclusive classroom culture that celebrates neurodiversity.
