Job summary

Catalyst is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementation of Catalyst's programming for children ranging from infants to school age, depending on location. You will facilitate age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional development, and supervise children to ensure a safe, healthy environment.

• 12–24 postsecondary units in ECE, CD, or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that connects to children's interests and supports development.
• Create, maintain enrichment learning environments that are age-appropriate for all children.
• Provide excellent customer service by forming authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, schools, and staff.
• Ensure children are healthy and safe with proper supervision and adherence to safety guidelines.
