Job summary

Uxbridge Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Girls Basketball Coach for Whitin Intermediate School in Uxbridge, MA. The position supports grades 6 and 7, with practices and games scheduled during the winter season and travel to away contests as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred), valid driver’s license, and current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Background checks and state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience coaching middle school or higher level preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Massachusetts fingerprints and CORI/SORI background checks required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily practices for middle school players.
• Develop age-appropriate offensive and defensive strategies.
• Supervise team travel and game-day logistics.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive team culture.
• Coordinate with athletic department and high school staff.
